Arnold Kriegstein, MD, PhD, director of the UCSF Institute for Regeneration Medicine, joins host Larry Mantle on KPCC’s AirTalk to discuss three Nature papers that report a technique for reprogramming adult cells to embryonic stem cells that avoids carrying out somatic cell nuclear transfer, which requires the use of embryos.
