UC to Begin Planning for Employee Furloughs, Salary Reductions in Response to State Budget Crisis

 

The University of California will “begin planning for the possibility of employee furloughs and/or temporary and permanent salary reductions as an additional element of the university’s response to the state budget contraction,”  according to UC President Mark Yudof.
Yudof made the statement today (April 7), which is posted on the University website.
